On Wednesday at BlogWorld in Las Vegas, we were fortunate enough to attend a private preview of The Kite Runner movie, which is the film adaptation of author Khaled Hosseini’s acclaimed best-seller.  Immediately following the screening, The Kite Runner’s lead actor, Khalid Abdalla and nationally syndicated radio film critic Michael Medved, conducted a 30 minute Q&A with us.  Michael said he feld The Kite Runner is "one of the year’s best films.  Beautifully crafted, wildly ambitious and altogether unforgettable."  We agree.

Abdalla explained that the release of this highly anticipated film has been delayed until December 14, due to safety concerns for the child actors in Afghanistan.  He assured all of us that they actors had been moved to safe houses and their their well-being was the number one concern.  Abdalla is actually an English actor who had to learn the native language in less than two months.  Some of you might recognize him as the lead terrorist in the film United 93.
