I have had guns all my life and I have never killed anyone. I will get rid of my guns when everyone else in the world does the same. Lawnmowers don't have a primary purpose of killing things. I think gun lovers should face up to a fascination with the idea of being able to hold the balance of life and death in your hands. It's pretty damn seductive. I do fear other nuts, drunk or otherwise, in cars more than I fear guns.
