You know how every once in a while there is this really cool listing on eBay that everyone is talking about?  Not so much the product, but the way it is being advertised by the seller?  We found one!

You have to click over to this ad for a Carver C-500 on Ebay just to read the ad text.  Here are a few quotes from the ad:

"Let’s be honest, if you know these two products, you don’t need much of a description and we are both children of the sixties……The C-500 amp drives 250 watts per channel and sounds as clean as the day I bought it. Both units are fully functional, tested, ready to go."  … followed by a beautiful description of the product.  But then…  "These have been sitting in my closet now for years with the hopes of passing them on to our son … He doesn’t realize he and his sister were conceived while these were playing the best of the sixties, seventies and eighties, I don’t feel right explaining in detail to him why we needed a big amp to keep the neighbors from hearing his mother."   and …. "Gave the speakers to my bastard brother who sold them for drug money…"

There is a LOT more intesting text in the description.   We just didn’t feel right putting all of it here.  After all, it’s his ad!
